On March 2, China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) released the Notice on Determining the 2025-2027 National Intellectual Property Powerhouse Construction Demonstration Programs. CYPC has been officially designated as a "National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise Candidate".
The "National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise" initiative is a flagship program launched by CNIPA to advance the development of an intellectual property powerhouse. This program specifically targets enterprises with outstanding innovation capabilities, robust intellectual property management systems, and remarkable performance in outcome transformation. Enterprises selected for this honor are not only recognized as innovation benchmarks within their respective fields but also undertake the critical mission of exploring intellectual property management practices that are replicable, transferable and widely applicable.
In recent years, CYPC has been thoroughly studying and implementing President Xi Jinping's core directives and statements on intellectual property affairs, as well as relevant decisions and deployments outlined in the Outline for Building an Intellectual Property Powerhouse (2021-2035). The Company has enhanced the holistic planning, strategic deployment, and coordinated advancement of its intellectual property initiatives. By accelerating the development of new quality productive forces, the Company has significantly upgraded capabilities across the entire value chain of intellectual property—encompassing creation, application, protection, and management. This has effectively fostered a synergistic and integrated development between science & technology and industry. Since 2021, the Company has been awarded 3 National Science and Technology Awards, over 30 ministerial/provincial-level awards, and more than 50 industry-specific science and technology awards. We currently hold a portfolio of over 4,900 patents and 940 software copyrights. Additionally, we have taken the lead in or participated in the development and publication of over 160 international, national, and industrial standards. This successful selection serves as a full recognition of our solid work and innovative achievements in the past.
Moving forward, CYPC will adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the key decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on intellectual property affairs. We will take this demonstration initiative as an opportunity to further enhance the quality of IP creation, the efficiency of IP utilization, the effectiveness of IP protection, and our overall management and service capabilities, thereby fully exerting a demonstration and leadership role in the clean energy sector and making greater contributions to the building of an intellectual property powerhouse.
